Painting children's portraits started a few years ago for me, and has grown in both depth and passion. I am drawn to the faces in the portraits. I love to explore the human spirit through portraiture. There is a vast amount of emotion, history, feeling, thought, always humanness, and often intelligence, in each face... I love the interplay of discovering and projecting the character and inner secrets and souls of the sitting children.
